The project deals with road safety education, through effective real life learning activities. Its aim is to train conscious pedestrians who are able to cope with traffic situations as efficiently as possible. Students will be able to:
- discuss how traffic affects the safety of pedestrians and cyclists
- talk about road safety and road regulations
- understand, describe and identify road signs, traffic signals and road markings
- identify safe places to cross roads
- Stop, Look, Listen, Think before crossing a road. Use their senses to gather information about traffic
- understand the importance of being with an adult when crossing roads
- choose a safe route to school
